Overview

Eight conductors will be selected to participate in the workshop which runs concurrently with the Seasons Composers Seminar. Each conductor will have 15-20 minutes of podium time for two piano sessions and five orchestra sessions.

Additionally each conductor will be assigned a work written for the Festival by a composition fellow to rehearse and perform at the closing concert

The performances will be professionally videoed for the use of the conductors and composers. Conducting fellows should plan to arrive by the evening of October14 and depart October 22.

Housing, Travel, Tuition

Hotel housing is included in the tuition (double occupancy).

You pay travel to and from Yakima, and for food.

Tuition is $1000, payable in two installments ($400 upon acceptance; the balance by the first meeting of the workshop).
